Mouse Test

Instructions

1. Purpose: check the mouse buttons and wheel, count clicks, and observe the frequency of events received by the browser.
2. Estimated event rate: this result comes from browser events and may be rounded to 125 / 250 / 500 / 1,000 / 2,000 / 4,000 / 8,000 Hz. It does not certify the mouse’s hardware polling rate.
3. How to test: hold a mouse button and move within the drawing area. Release the button to stop measuring.

5. Troubleshooting: use a physical mouse in a desktop browser. Some in-app browsers limit mouse events; results also depend on the browser and device.
