Test Notes

1. Microphone Test
This test shows the microphone signal available to this browser. Check your selected device and browser permissions if there is no signal. Results do not represent microphone settings in other apps.

2. Monitor Volume & Gain
Monitor volume controls playback of your microphone through this page. Mic gain changes the signal used by this test and its recording. Neither slider changes system microphone settings. Use headphones to avoid feedback.

3. Audio Output Test
Use the left, right and stereo buttons to check channel positioning. Results depend on the selected output device and system volume. Start at a low volume.

4. Spatial Audio Test
The click test uses simulated spatial positioning through Web Audio; it does not verify eight discrete hardware channels. Video playback also depends on the browser, device and surround settings.

5. Output Volume
The sliders adjust this page’s test sounds, music and monitoring. They do not change system volume. Adjust your device volume separately.

6. Frequency Response
This is a subjective listening check, not a calibrated measurement. Perception depends on hearing, equipment and sound processing. Keep the volume low, especially at high frequencies.
